BARCELONA - European textile and clothing industry body Euratex has officially launched its ReHubs Europe project to upscale textile waste recycling.
First announced nearly three years ago, Euratex said the launch followed "three years of intense preparation", and a "techno-economic study" analysing the business case, cost and environmental benefits.
ReHubs Europe will gather key players from the textile value chain including manufacturers, brands, collectors and recyclers, chemical companies and technology providers.
