BRUSSELS - The Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) is urging MEPs to back the latest version of the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence (EU CSDD) directive at a key meeting next week.
The legislation, which would make companies liable for human rights and environmental issues in their global supply chains, goes to the European Parliament on 1st June.
ETI executive director Peter McAllister has written an open letter to members of the European Parliament urging them to vote in favour of the directive.
