ST LOUIS – A US consumer has filed a complaint in a district court in Missouri that accuses Nike of product greenwash in the US state.
The lawsuit says that “to increase profits and to gain an advantage over its lawfully acting competitors, Nike falsely and misleadingly markets the (apparel) products as “sustainable,” made with “sustainable materials,” and “environmentally friendly”.
