DHAKA – Bangladeshi outerwear manufacturer 4A Yarn Dyeing Limited has joined the United Nations’ (UN) Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action in a commitment to address its environmental impact.
The company, of the Team Group manufacturing conglomerate, is said to be the first of its kind to join the charter.
Team Group’s managing director Abdullah Hil Rakib told local reporters that the business is “very much committed to sustainable production” and that 4A Yarn is “one of the trendsetting companies in Bangladesh taking actions for low carbon apparel manufacturing”.
