JYVÄSKYLÄ – Fibre manufacturer Spinnova has teamed up with ‘sustainable’ dyeing specialist Imogo to adopt its resource-efficient textile treatment method.
Imogo’s Dye-Max solution is said to cut water and energy consumption by 90 per cent compared to conventional jet dyeing, whilst reducing carbon emissions and waste water by the same figure.
“We’re constantly exploring sustainable alternatives in textile processing to further reduce the environmental impact of the products we create. Imogo has the potential to revolutionise the industry’s dyeing process, and has already proven that sustainability and durability go hand in hand,” said Spinnova’s chief sustainability officer, Shahriare Mahmood.
