LOS ANGELES - The Citizens of Humanity Group has established a US-based farming programme to encourage farmers to adopt regenerative agriculture methods to grow cotton for its brands.
The first farm selected - Hardwick Planting Company in Louisiana - has become the first cotton farm in the US to be certified by the Regenagri international regenerative agriculture programme.
The farm, which was audited by agricultural certification body Control Union to confirm it met the Regenagri standards, will supply cotton for the group's brands, Citizens of Humanity, Agolde and Goldsign.
