NEW YORK – US retailer Macy’s has outlined a number of collaborations and activities to support its Mission Every One sustainability strategy.
Notably, the company has joined the Better Cotton initiative to increase its uptake of more ‘sustainable’ cotton, and has partnered both with the Business and Social Responsibility’s (BSR) HERProject and Trust for Public Land (TPL) to support its environmental and community work.
Keelin Evans, vice president of sustainability at Macy’s, commented: “As we build on the public commitments outlined in our social purpose platform, we are leveraging key partnerships like Better Cotton to help us attain our sustainability goals throughout our value chain.”
