NEW YORK – The Accelerating Circularity initiative says that the coronavirus pandemic has impacted on its US trials which seek to ramp up textile-to-textile circularity to commercial scale.
COVID-19 has led to a shortage of workers to carry out the trials, while the initiative's brand partners are focusing on their own production needs as markets reopen after lockdowns.
"The good news is apparel sales have picked up and therefore, general business for our trial participants has also picked up," said an Accelerating Circularity spokesperson.
