TEWKESBURY – British apparel retailer Weird Fish has reported strong progress in line with its sustainability targets, having surpassed its expectations for the volume of more ‘sustainable’ materials integrated in products.
The brand launched its strategy in 2019 and said it exceeded its initial target of ensuring 20 per cent of the textiles in its garments were from ‘sustainable’ sources, reaching 25 per cent.
Managing director, John Stockton, said: “We view every year as a ‘leap year’ and focus our attention on reaching challenging but obtainable targets.”
