SAN FRANCISCO - Technology company Higg Co and the Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC) have added a scoring function to the Higg Facility Social and Labour Module (Higg FSLM).
It means that global brands can now use a standard scoring system to assess the social and labour performance of suppliers' facilities on the tool which is part of the Higg Index suite of sustainability services.
It was developed in partnership with the multi-stakeholder Social Labour Convergence Program (SLCP) which aims to create the first industry-wide converged framework to assess social and labour conditions.
