BRUSSELS - European textile and clothing industry body Euratex has revealed its circular economy action plan to ensure sustainable resource use and tackle urgent environment, social and economic challenges.
Euratex presented its strategy, entitled Prospering in the Circular Economy 2019, to the European Commission's Director-General for the Environment, Calleja Crespo, at a meeting of its board of directors.
It says the detailed document is the result of an extensive, bottom-up consultation with Euratex members, national and sector associations, and more than 100 European companies and other stakeholders.
