VALENCIA - Fabric and garment finishing company Jeanologia has joined more than 220 other firms by entering into the Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC).
The SAC is formed of brands, retailers and manufacturers, as well as governments, environmental NGOs and academic institutions. Its goal is to improve supply chain sustainability in the textile industry.
Jeanologia will now be able to fully utilise SAC resources such as the Higg Index, and says it hopes this can help to drive environmental and social responsibility throughout its supply chain.
