EDINBURGH – Researchers at Heriot-Watt University claim to have developed a world-first visual grading system for combatting microplastic pollution from clothing.

The four-year project was led by textile experts aiming to make fashion labels and consumers more environmentally aware when manufacturing and buying clothes.
