DHAKA - A new report from the Swedwatch NGO highlights the impacts of low wages on Bangladesh's garment workers who are said to be dependant on overtime or falling into debt to make ends meet.
Swedwatch, a Swedish non-profit focused on business relations in developing countries, says garment workers are "trapped in an exploitative system", with "decades of activism and corporate pledges" failing to secure a living wage.
