VALENCIA - Hydroponic cotton pioneer Magtech (Mediterranean Agro Technologies) is expanding its project to grow cotton without the use of soil to conserve water and minimise land use.
The company says it now has more than 12,000 square metres of soilless cotton cultivation in Europe, with support from leading brands in the UK, Sweden, France, Italy and Switzerland.
