WASHINGTON DC - US politicians are urging Canada and Mexico to introduce legislation banning imports of goods made with forced labour to match the US Uyghur Forced Labour Prevention Act (UFLPA).

Representative Chris Smith, Senator Jeff Merkley, Senator Marco Rubio and Representative Jim McGovern, who led efforts to pass UFLPA, have written to the trade representatives of Canada and Mexico, as well as the US.
