LONDON - The UK government is being urged to immediately implement an extended producer responsibility (EPR) scheme to drive sustainability and establish a circular economy in the UK fashion and textiles sector.
A report from consultancy QSA Partners, with support from the UK Fashion and Textile Association (UKFT), British Fashion Council, British Retail Consortium and brands Burberry, Marks & Spencer, New Look and John Smedley, calls for an intelligent 'variable fee' EPR scheme.
