WASHINGTON DC - The Fair Labor Association (FLA) has joined a global group of organisations advocating living wage and gender equality in the fashion and textile supply chain as part of the United Nations Global Compact’s (UNGC) Forward Faster targets.
The global, multi-sector initiative, which also includes the International Labor Organization (ILO), the Living Wage Foundation and Shift, is calling on companies to commit and take credible and ambitious action on targets for employees and workers in their supply chains, while also supporting the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
