NASHVILLE - Ethical fashion companies Nisolo and ABLE have launched a human rights campaign with a difference - in which they challenge other brands to reveal the lowest wages paid to workers in their supply chains.
The Lowest Wage Challenge urges fashion brands and retailers to publish the lowest amount that workers are paid by any of their international suppliers.
These baseline wages then have to be verified by Accountable, a third-party reporting tool intended to ensure the expectations of concerned consumers are met.
