GENEVA - A new report from the International Labour Organization details the lessons learned from various projects to increase gender equality in the garment industry.
It follows a public call from the ILO’s Decent Work in Garment Supply Chains Asia project, funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), to identify promising practices.
Organisers of a number of initiatives responded and the ILO has now produced a new report identifying what it sees as the key ingredients of successful projects.
