STONY BROOK – Molecular technologies specialist Applied DNA Sciences has been awarded a contract for a pilot isotopic testing programme in Pakistan in a bid to reduce child and forced labour risks in cotton supply chains.

Applied DNA was awarded the sub-contract by global assurance company LRQA, formerly Elevate, following a tender to run the pilot as part of the $4 million US Department of Labor-funded Global Trace Protocol project.
