AMSTERDAM - The ZDHC Foundation has published the first version of its air emissions guidelines, which are described as a major step forward in establishing performance criteria for air emissions within the textile, apparel, leather, and footwear manufacturing industries.
The new document, 'Air Emissions Guidelines V1.0’, builds on the ZDHC position paper published in 2019. It focuses on sensitising the industry, enabling suppliers to establish their baselines, and helping brands and suppliers gain a comprehensive understanding of air emission requirements.
