MILAN – The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) has provided an update on the three-year progress of its ‘Sustainability Pledge’ project to highlight ongoing challenges and solutions in adopting a supply-chain-wide traceability system.
During a UNECE conference in Milan yesterday, various brands and NGOs cited further steps needed after the completion of pilot field trials, including data collection and legislative issues.
