WILMINGTON - The Lycra Company has struck a deal with Dairen Chemical Corporation (DCC) as part of its bio-derived, elastane supply chain.

Under the terms of the deal, DCC will use its low-impact allyl alcohol process to convert Qira - described as the next generation of 1,4-butanediol (BDO) - into ‘low-impact’ PTMEG, a key ingredient in the production of bio-derived elastane.
