GUIMARÃES - Portuguese yarn manufacturer Tearfil has inaugurated a new spinning line which it will operate in partnership with Scandinavian textile fibre innovator Spinnova.
The result of a yarn development cooperation agreement first announced in June 2003, the two companies will share the capacity of the line with Spinnova able to use it for product development and the testing of its wood-based cellulose fibre made out of textile and agricultural waste, without the use of potentially harmful chemicals.
