LEIDEN - IKEA owner, the Ingka Group, last year reduced its carbon footprint across Scopes 1, 2 and 3 by 24.3% while increasing its revenue by 30.9%, according to the company's annual sustainability report.
Most of the decrease in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, which - like the revenue increase - was measured against a 2016 baseline, was achieved from carbon-saving measures, although changes in business operations also contributed.
