AMSTERDAM - Sustainability initiative Fashion for Good (FFG) has announced the expansion of its circularity framework to address the challenge of ensuring rewearable textiles remain in use rather than finding their way into global waste streams or landfill sites.
The 18-month project will test automated sorting technologies using artificial intelligence and machine learning in a bid to optimise the sorting of rewearable garments and enable greater circularity.
