PARIS – French fashion conglomerate Kering, which owns brands including Gucci, Saint Laurent and Alexander McQueen, has outlined its latest sourcing policy in which it provides its suppliers with guidance on how to measure progress and outcomes on traceability, social welfare, environmental protection and animal welfare.
The updated policy, 'Kering Standards and guidance for sustainable production', is designed to support all suppliers who work with brands within the group, and also includes guidance on a range of issues including code of ethics, human rights policy and adhering to manufacturing restricted substances list.
