LIMERICK - Fashion brand Aoife McNamara has become the first in Ireland to be awarded B Corp certification in recognition of its ethical and environmental standards.
Companies undergo a series of rigorous assessments to measure their work across five impact areas - governance, workers, customers, community and environment - to become B Corps.
All businesses which receive the certification are required to achieve a B Impact Assessment score of 80 or above, indicating what B Corp considers a “high level” of social and environmental performance.
