LONDON – Activist investment platform Tulipshare, which holds shares in Nike, has called on the sportswear giant to produce a detailed report on worker rights in its supply chains.
The request, through a new shareholder proposal, asks Nike for specific information on the methodology and metrics used to track potential forced labour and wage theft risks in its supply chain – although so far, Tulipshare says it has not received a response to its request – except to acknowledge receipt of the proposal.
