ARTEIXO – Spanish fashion conglomerate Inditex has extended its long-standing partnership with native charity Caritas by committing €8.5 million (US$9.2m) to support its various work streams.
The sum will be deployed over the coming three years, and will see €3.5m (US$3.8m) set aside to support the non-profit’s Moda Re- programme.
Since its launch, the Moda Re- initiative has accelerated the development of clothing recycling infrastructure across Spain to ensure greater quantities of apparel can be fed through suitable collection, sorting, resale and recycling channels.
