RALEIGH – Sportswear brand Under Armour has teamed up with North Carolina State University (NC State) to support student development and advance textile and material innovations.
Under Armour has established an innovation centre on the institute’s Centennial Campus to enable brand employees and academics to collaborate on promising research leads, test performance fabrics and explore ‘sustainable’ solutions.
Lisa Collier, Under Armour’s chief product officer, said: “We are proud to partner with NC State, a top research university, to help us create cutting-edge fabrics that not only perform for athletes, but are also in line with our value to act sustainably.”
