BANGALORE - Vegan leather shoe producer Rapidbox has raised US$4.5 million in a series A funding round which it will use to expand its product range and develop the brand.
The funding round was led by SIG Venture Capital with support from Tanglin Venture Partners, India Quotient and Ananya Goenka.
Rapidbox's shoes feature uppers made from vegan leather alternatives or polyester. The soles, footbeds and laces are also made from animal-free materials, according to the company.
