SINGAPORE - Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC) CEO Amina Razvi called for a “radical transformation” of the entire fashion sector in the context of the climate emergency at the organisation's annual meeting.
With the theme 'Collective Action on Common Ground', Razvi kicked off the two-day event - the first to be held in person since the pandemic - with a keynote speech urging sector-wide action on sustainability and human rights issues.
“Finding this common ground is essential because, without it, we can’t move forward. It’s industry versus activists, natural vs synthetic, growth vs degrowth, global north vs global south," she said.
