OLYMPIA – Authorities in Washington, USA, are to offer business support to 16 circular innovators spanning sectors such as textiles and plastics in a bid to promote potential solutions.
The companies have been selected to be part of NextCycle Washington, a state-wide sustainability drive led by the Departments of Commerce and Ecology, King County Solid Waste Division, Seattle Public Utilities and the Washington Recycling Development Center.
Innovators – of which many are women- or minority-led – have been categorised based on whether they provide ‘upstream’ or ‘downstream’ solutions.
