LENZING - Austrian wood-based fibre producer Lenzing has been awarded the highest corporate social responsibility (CSR) score from global rating standard EcoVadis for the second consecutive year.
Lenzing says that its platinum rating for 2021 - following an assessment of its work in the four key CSR areas of the environment; fair working conditions and human rights; ethics; and sustainable procurement - puts it among the top one per cent of companies in its sector.
"At Lenzing, we are working hard to make our industries even more sustainable and to drive the transformation of the textile business model from a linear to a circular economy model," said Stephan Sielaff, CEO of the Lenzing Group.
