AUSTRIA - Cellulosic fibre supplier Lenzing has been awarded for its work in introducing blockchain technology for fibre identification along the textile value chain.
The company has become the first to be awarded a gold Digital Corona award for dynamically advancing the digitisation of business models, processes, products and services.
It comes as Lenzing announces its quarterly results in which it revealed a 1.1 per cent drop in revenue which is being seen as a stronger performance in a challenging market.
