AMSTERDAM - Workers' rights campaigners have launched new data which they say highlights how supply chain garment workers are becoming worse off as their wages are eroded by soaring inflation.
The Clean Clothes Campaign (CCC) has added new data to its Fashion Checker website which aims to provide up-to-date information on wages and conditions in the global garment industry.
The tool lists brands and provides information on where they source their garments with data on wages paid in comparison to local living wage benchmarks, as well as the gender breakdown of workforce and prevalence of permanent contracts.
