NEW YORK – Secondhand fashion platform Galaxy has secured US$7 million in new funding, which it’ll use to further assert itself on the growing sub-sector.
Backed by the likes of Snapchat, Floodgate, Homebrew and RGH Capital, Galaxy facilitates peer-to-peer clothing resale and leverages a machine learning system that promotes items based on a shopper’s interests and their purchase history.
“We build entertaining and engaging experiences which generate explicit data where users tell us what they like by interacting with our product,” noted CEO Danny Quick.
