MILPITAS - French fashion group Kering and Danish retailer Bestseller have helped biotech startup VitroLabs raise US$46 million to build and scale pilot production of its lab-grown leather.
The Series A funding round, led by venture capital firm Agronomics, was also supported by Khosla Ventures, New Agrarian, Regeneration.VC and Hollywood actor and environmentalist Leonardo DiCaprio.
