DUBLIN - Fashion retailer Primark has published early progress against some of its sustainability commitments seven months on from the launch of its 'Primark Cares' strategy.

They include 39 per cent of its clothes now being made from recycled or more sustainable materials, up from 25 per cent in September 2021, towards a target of 100 per cent by 2030.

And a third of Primark's cotton is now recycled, organic or sourced from the Primark Sustainable Cotton Programme, up from 27 per cent, against a 100 per cent target by 2027.
