PEORIA - Sustainable startup Natural Fiber Welding (NFW) has raised US$85 million in a Series B funding round to further scale production of its 'sustainable' natural materials.
NFW engineers and manufactures Clarus, which is made of natural fibres including recycled cotton waste, and Mirum, a plant-based zero-plastic leather alternative.
The company told Ecotextile News that the new investment would "enable a tenfold increase in Mirum production in time to support upcoming global product launches".
