NAPA - Demand for animal-free, sustainable alternatives to leather, down, wool, silk, fur and exotic skins is set to take off, according to a new report.
The 'Next-Gen Materials White Space Report', jointly produced by the Material Innovation Initiative (MII) and the Mills Fabrica innovation platform, says such materials look set to follow alternative proteins in terms of growth and profitability.
Billed as a "first-of-its-kind white space analysis of the materials industry", it aims to highlight opportunities for investors and innovators in next-gen materials.
