TRENTON – US silk brand LilySilk has launched a new Zero Waste Movement in a commitment to utilise waste fabrics produced within its supply chain.

Though the firm insists its workers calculate every inch of silk used, waste offcuts are deemed a prerequisite in product manufacture and something Lilysilk is keen to feed back into its portfolio.

Items made from waste – which will be gifted to customers with every purchase – include pillowcases, face and eye masks and hair scrunchies.
