AMSTERDAM – The World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA) has today published a Gender Baseline Report, having assessed the commitments and strategies of 36 leading apparel brands around the world.
The report looks at the gender data disclosure of each company and rules that the availability of such information is “woefully insufficient”.
Its author has subsequently highlighted three areas to be addressed if brands and retailers are to better represent female workers not just within their supply chains, but up to board level.
