GARDABAER – Icelandic outerwear brand 66O North has become the country’s first to attain B Corp certification.
B Corporations, of which there are more than 4,500 globally, are subjected to rigorous assessments which measure efforts across five impact areas: governance, workers, customers, community and environment.
CEO Helgi Rúnar Óskarsson commented: “Earning a B Corp Certification with a score of 93.5 [out of 100] validates 66° North’s long-time commitment to doing business in a way that’s thoughtful and considerate of the planet.”
