LONDON – British retailer Marks & Spencer is the latest signatory to the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s (EMF) Jeans Redesign Project to unveil a capsule collection that meets the initiative’s sustainability and circularity criteria.
All signatories – including the likes of H&M, Levi’s and Tommy Hilfiger – pledge to work by guidelines on garment durability, material health, recyclability and traceability.
M&S becomes the initiative’s sixth signatory to produce a collection, following in the footsteps of Primark, Crystal Group, Tommy Hilfiger, Frame and American Eagle Outfitters.
