PALLADAM – Indian manufacturer BKS Textiles is the latest company to utilise Swiss innovator Haelixa’s traceability solution.
Haelixa uses a DNA marker which is embedded in a product and claims to provide forensic proof that cannot be tampered with of product origin and authenticity at all stages of the supply chain.
BKS will integrate the technology in its new Organitrack bedding, which is made entirely from organic cotton, to validate its sustainability credentials and mitigate potential counterfeiting threats.
