LONDON - Two-thirds of Brits are planning to use clothing rental companies during the holiday season - many of them to reduce "guilt" over fast fashion, according to a new survey.
The survey, by VoucherCodes, found that 33 per cent of shoppers identified fast fashion guilt as a key reason for renting clothes, making sustainability the leading factor driving them towards rental.
Nearly as many - 32 per cent - were swayed by the opportunity to wear outfits and accessories they couldn't afford to buy, 23 per cent liked not having to commit to buy clothes outright, and 16 per cent were looking to avoid repeating outfits.
