YAMAGUCHI - Uniqlo owner Fast Retailing has set new sustainability targets for 2030 in which it aims to accelerate its transition to a business model that embraces sustainability as well as growth.
The aim is to expand on the company's 'Lifewear' concept which focuses on quality, design and price to produce 'good clothing' from the standpoint of the environment, people and society.
Fast Retailing says it will seek to reduce its environmental impact in all production processes from manufacturing to transport and sales, "sharply reducing greenhouse gas emissions and waste".
